Overflow box gurgle

Anyone know how i can get rid of the gurgle from my overflow box so i can open up my sump return pump all the way?

Look into a dorso stand pipe or the Herbie method. Also make sure your drain in your sump is not fully submerged. Consider a T so the air has a place to escape.

'opening' up teh sump pump will depend on other factors also. i.e. What size drain in the overflow, and what size pump, and what head loss to the return line nozzles inside the tank.

Typically you would not want to 'open' up the pump, but just achieve teh flow you want, not more.

If you are wanting more flow or circulation in your tank, you have other choices, powerheads, waveboxes, Oceans Motions, ...sqwd

The standpipe looks like it does a good job but my overflow is a plastic hang on the back CPR.
