overflow drain gph help!

I know its probably posted around here, but i cannot seem to find it. can someone tell me where i can find (or just post them) how many gallons per hour the following hole diameters will drain?

3/4"
1"
1 1/2"
2"

Do you mean the hole size or the pipe size? A 1" pipe will have a hole that is 1 7/8".

1" pipe = 600 gph. That's all I know since that's what I have.

no MJ, i know the hole sizes, i am looking for the gph (like you posted for the 1") anybody know the rest of them?

Use the drain size calculator and just try different values until you get the sizes you are shooting for.

Go here:

and do it in reverse. It gives you the pipe size needed for a given gph. 600gph = 1.001" pipe. =)

i knew about the calculator, but never thought about using it backwards..thanks guys...and for those who are curious (all are approximate, but pretty close)..


1/2" - 150gph

3/4" - 350gph

1" - 600gph

1 1/2" - 1325gph

2" - 2350gph

3" - 5275gph

wow..3" pipe really dumps!
