if i put my new tank so it is open on 3 sides and closed on 1, can i put the overflow box at the end of the tank?it is not a rr tank.

thanks

thanks, so what will be the best way to bring in my returns to the main tank.what i had in mine was to bring 1 line in the middle of the tank with a cap at the other end, with holes drilled all over it all the way down.any help. if anybody has a set up like this i would love to see some pics. it is killing me to have the tank in the shop just sitting there till i make up my mind.

You may just need to build it and try it. You don't need to glue the piece down the center, just press fit it. That way you can easily change it out to experiment with hole size and spacing. You will probably need to make some sort of bracket to hold up the capped end, or a small hole in the top frame with a zip tie.

what if your power goes out? wouldnt that drain your whole tank?

not if it is at the top.this is for a 125g. and there will be a wet dry good for a 180 and a 55 gallon sump.so there will be alot of room under the tank if the power goes out.
