Guys,
I have a huge boom of pods in my tank and was wondering if you have a seen any dragonets in the LFS. It is so large they they are covering my aquirium walls during the daylight to feed. I want to acquire a dragonet so not I am in a hunt for a spotted, green, or red mandarin dragonet. I have visited quite a few and have had not luck. If anyone has see a healthy specimen please let me know.

Thanks

I've seen them at Aquarium Concept and Sea Creatures. Mine was from Aquarium Concept it's now in Erik's tank.

Luis and Sandy at Aquarium Concept usually place them in their frag tank and Luis feeds the coral rotifers. I think the mandarins start getting used to the frozen food. With mine it would eat pods but also some of the frozen mysis as well.

I am in the same boat as you. With the new build I was waiting on some pods to start populating the 40 gallon for my green spotted mandarin. I woke up the other morning and they were everywhere. Now that the mandarin is transferred over shes making an awesome comeback.

i had this problem in my 55 g but i dont really think its a problem lol its a good thing because its food for all the finiky eaters lol but it does look weird

I tried the sponge for two weeks but I only saw about 20 pods in the sponge. I used a coarse sponge that they can get into it easily. I will try again.
