Question where is everyone placeing ATO sensor at? Trying to determin the best water level in the filter section?

So whats the verdict around here.....Tunze 9004 or ghost midsize? Is it really that bad losing a media basket to use the Tunze 9004 which seems to be a "better" skimmer?

I have the ghost and with some patience and break in time it works great. I don't like to overskim and it pulls a pretty dark tea color skimmate that smells awful. It's a like from me.

Airwaybill I'm sorry was looking more at the actual position you placed the sensor? are you right at chamber walls, above them or below?

On my phone if you hit the arrow next to quick reply it gives me an option to post pics from camera or gallery. In a reply it has icons for both as well. Not sure what format you are using.

Mine is on the back wall. I got the digital aquatics mount. Had to alter it a little...but works great. It's in the middle.

Digital aquatics reefkeeper lite. I did add the slx module and ph probe. Plus need the module for the float switch.

I have my sensor in the return/middle section positioned probably 1/2-3/4" lower than the baffles so there is a slight waterfall into that chamber, but not enough to be noisy.

I've been using the ghost without any real complaint on performance. That said, I picked up a Tunze 9004 yesterday in hopes it is quieter than the ghost. My tank sits in my living room and the ghost does produce a fair bit of noise. I haven't installed the Tunze yet though so maybe I won't find what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have zeolites in a IM mid size reactor? Does it work? Do you just shake it once in a while to release them?

I want to try and add a pair of those (if I can find them) once tank is ready, along with a pair of Yasha gobies, and Bangai Cardinals... All in steps of course,
