Hi all,
My Premnas Clown is sick. Spoke to the vet and they have suggested Oxytetracycline, rather than Erythromycin, as a treatment. Anyone used this before. It states in the treatment guide I was given that the dosage is 10-100mg/l, the higher dose being hardwater, repeated after 3 days and 50% water change. I assume higher dose means 100mg/l?
It also states that marine fish may have a single bath in 400mg/l for 1 hour.
Which is the best option?
Here're some more pics:

It looks like he's scraped his belly in a rock or something and the infection has got in. None of the other fish are effected.
I seems to be spreading fast. I have him in a hospital tank with lowered salinity and no light. The vet has had to order Oxytetracycline in a dissolving powder or liquid format and it won't be here until tomorrow, should I put in some Myxazin, for fungus and bacterial infection, right now and see if that slows the infection?
Also, since there'll be antibiotics in the HT any bio filteration is effectively shot, does anyone know if API's Ammo Lock will be okay to use with the Oxytetracycline. I have plenty of water change water standing by just in case.
Any other hospital and care tips would be graciously recieved.
Thanks,
Campbell
