Oyster in reef tank

I recently bought a mushroom rock from aquarium adventure since it had only two small mushrooms on it for $5.99. I've had it home for about two weeks now. I put it in my refugium just to dress it up a little with some life. Twice while doing maintenance on my sump I thought I noticed something move. This morning I finally caught the movement while inspecting my refugium. The rock I bought has turned out, I believe, to be an oyster.

I guess I just need to know if this will at all harm my tank. I would like to see if I can keep him alive if I can. Also if anyone know where I can find some care instructions that would also be helpful.

Thanks,

Justin

Nice find. I have a couple oysters in my tank. They are filter feeders so it should be quite happy in your refugium. A shot of cyclopseeze or golden pearls occaisionally would probably be appreciated...but not absolutely necessary. :)
