P. Ciliata - Too much light?

Hi all

I'm building a new custom shallow tank for my P. Ciliata. He currently has a single 18W light approx 2-3" above his 14" cube.

The new tank will be approx 3x1.5ft but only 10" high. I've got the offer to buy a 4x39W T5 light unit which would sit approx. 4-6" above the water surface.

Is this going to be too much light for my stomatopod?

Thanks!

I don't know much about lighting systems - just a bit about stomatopods. P. ciliata occupies a broad depth distribution from the low intertidal to at least 40 m. Where these animals are being collected is usually on open reef and sand flats. It is not uncommon to find P. ciliata on white sandflats at noon in 3 or 4 inches of water. If they can take that intensity of broad spectrum light, they can probably handle most aquarium set-ups - as long as they have a dark refuge.
