P.E.A. Neon Orange Hammer

Their WYSIWYG pic is defiantly yellow not orange. I have cornbred neon orange branching hammer and its without a doubt orange. I also have cornbred yellow branching and the P.E.A one definitely looks more yellow

Post a pic of the orange one so we can see what a truly orange hammer looks like :)

I wouldnt call it "true" orange. Branching orange isnt nearly as orange as most wall oranges. But its definatly neon orange none the less. If I didnt have a $40 boost mobile POS cell phone id post a pic, when I take pics of my corals they dont look nearly as good as when they do in person. But cornbred has the neon orange listed on ebay for sale if you wanna see what it looks like

I did receive my frag in great condition however, this hammer is not even remotely yellow or orange in my display.
I have T5 lighting, ~15K look and it is a drab flesh tone and bland green color... VERY disappointed.
I have contacted PEA to see what lighting they have this coral under.

Also, for a branching hammer, the polyps are tiny! (closed they are smaller than a dime!)
The expand to be about a nickel in width...

That's what I feared when I seen the excessive orange color and hints of green. The Orange color looked off, especially for a branching

yea, we shall see...

Even moonlights do not create the same coloration as what is seen on the website... green yes, but nothing even remotely as bright as what is pictured...

very bothered by this!

I feel your frustration, especially when we pay top dollar for hard to find pieces and they dont turn out as described.

When I was deciding on getting a replacement or taking the store credit a member from another site sent me a message and several pics of his. He ordered 2 heads and enither looked like the original photos they posted, so I took the store credit. I figure I will take a trip down there sometime and pic out a few pieces in person.

I went through this on a long thread and called out a reputable/large dealer where they claimed it was taken under special lighting. After getting them to finally tell me what lighting, I had that lighting and was no where near the color. I called them out and posted their response for all to see. Many are manipulating the photos and it will not end until we stop buying them. I ended up having the mods delete all of my posts on the matter as I saw nothing good coming from it. You know damn well you don't see colors like this in person, and if you did it would be an expensive piece for sure. Just my two cents.

Yea, lesson learned.
its getting richer in color in my tank since its introduction but still looks like a normal green branching hammer, just smaller polyped.

most of the vendors do it, and could care less that you know so. This was my experience with another large vendor. Chalk it up as more experience points and move on

I ordered two polyps, one for me and one for a buddy. Under my radion pros it looks yellow. Under my buddies razors it looks more orange. Go figure

a raw picture file maybe better. that fix all photoshop problems.

Not if filters are used at time of shot as in the colored gel sheets. Like I've stated, we do not walk into stores and see coral at this saturation, so that alone should keep you from falling for these tricks.
