Can I use this accelerator with Eheim 1262 pump (internal use) ?

Hello,

Thanks for your post, unfortunately the the Eheim 1262 is not compatible with the Pacific Coast Flow Accelerator. The threads on the Eheim outlet are a different measurement than on the Pacific Coast Flow Accelerator. Normally you want to use the accelerators on the return line attached to a bulkhead.

Thanks for your quick response Walter.

I can solve the thread measurement problem. If I'm not wrong, the pump feeding this flow accelerator needs to be pressure rated. It needs to be able to generate flow against the back pressure of the narrow nozzle. What I want to know is, if the Eheim 1262 can handle this back pressure. I don't want the flow accelerator to give damage to the pump or make it run noisy.

Thanks for the reply, after asking a few of my fellow colleagues your question, It seems that the Eheim 1292 should be able to handle the back pressure with out any problems.
