Have you tried to set it by PC/Mac app? We didn't get any reports from users using Android app, maybe there is a bug but please contact with service@pacific-sun.eu firstly..

  1. Yes, I have tried Mac Kore 5th and it won't be able to set/save AWC settings with the latest firmware.
  2. From exchanged emails with your tech support, I believe that QA hasn't tested the latest firmware with AWC using DC Pumps. So definitely a nasty bug.
 
So I couldn't leave well enough alone. My ATO stopped working so I decided to do a firmware update..... mistake. I now have a blank screen and can not recover. Will probably need to send back to be flashed BUT I have run this doser for ever without issues so want to replace the main unit.

My question is. What is the difference between starter edition and main unit only models

I currently own the pro version that has floats for ATO. Temp gauge. Optical eye for high level alarm. Solenoid for ATO reservoir. What unit do I need to use all that? (I just need the base unit that I can plug what I have into it)

No difference between main units, only what's included in the box is different.

That's what I figured but there is a $80 difference between the starter set and main unit only. (Starter set is cheaper)

I replaced the main unit in my PRO setup and its exactly the same. Starter only contains the main unit, no replacement tubing, cd or anything.

You don't need to send unit to us - simply follow instructions how to update firmware on doser.
You probably used original software(control software) for update to latest firmware and it was wrong - newest firmware is much bigger than previous one and require special update tool published by us on our website.

Im sure that you will be able to perform update by your self - please let our service know if you will need more advanced troubleshooting.

Kore 5th units are the same in all versions(Ultimate, Pro, Base, Starter) - only difference are included modules/parts.
Starter Edition include only doser and power supply(with CD/antenna).
Base/Main unit include also 10m tubings and tubing holder(5 + 1 for ATO).

Thank you for response. I actually did use the updater but I used a .rar file and not a .bin file. Totally my fault. I tried to recover with updater and install the original .bin file but it doesn't connect to Bluetooth anymore. I have a email into customer support but I it's the weekend so I will work with them

PS. Love all the products and can't wait for KHLAB

Please try firmware update using dedicated app not software.
When you will choose firmware file and on the screen you will see dots “.......” push reset button on doser - it should start firmware update .

Yes I have. I don't think the blue tooth adapter is connecting with doser. Adapter connects fine with Hyperion so Bluetooth works. I was going to uninstall kore 5th from blue tooth devices and reinstall but I'm waiting for tech service to respond so I don't mess it up any more.

Can you confirm correct .bin file I should be using for windows

After about 50+ tries over two days, I now have a device that's only function is to tell me "Bootloader ready".

This is why I HATE making any changes on this thing, seems something always goes wrong.

you are supported on Beta Tester users group right? If yes - it's best place to find support cause they are not supporting Customers thru ReefCentral(or any other website/forums).

I talked with service today about supporting you - but they don't have any mails regarding help in firmware update in last days from any Customer.
Please contact with them directly - they can perform it for you remotely or give advanced troubleshooting hints!

Now I found your post - it's solved actually?
If not - please let our service know.

We expect to release new firmware soon compatible with our kHLab and Cube Bluetooth<>Wifi bridge so stay tuned.
Again - we remind that updates to latest firmware should be done ONLY using dedicated firmware update apps not control software(as it's mentioned in manual and on our website).

I sent them an email before I wrote that post, I post here because you get help faster usually...every time I've written support it's next day responses that don't really help and I just stumble through.

What is the Beta Tester users group??

Please drop me mail to info [at] pacific-sun.eu and also service [at] pacific-sun.eu cause they don't have any mail regarding troubles with firmware update on dozer.
About next day responses - we are working 8:00 am to 4:30pm so if mail arrive after that opening time they can't reply earlier than on next day.. But Tomasz is right person for your technical support(in fact, it's only one service man since last 7 years and still have a lot of time for many other things).
Usually troubles with firmware update are sourced by bluetooth/app settings
If you see Bootloader ready message on LCD you should follow that steps carefully described on that page(section Emergency firmware update procedure).
Please check which version of dozer you have cause sometimes Customers mess speaker hole with reset hole ;-)
