Good evening Homer!
I got notification reminder regarding your post so please let me explain you shortly to your bolded questions/concerns.
My replies are in red, thank you.
You quoted some my answers to you:
Ok explain this to me then... Why can I go back to original firmaware with the exact same BT module, yet updates will not take? Must be my BT module right?
It's quite easy to explain. You tried to did a firmware updates using previous version of software(which was including also firmware update option). It was working but limitation was file size - up to 32kB. All latest version are compatible also with Kore 7th and size is much bigger - thats why it require different firmware uploader which is explained on our website(in download section you can find firmware, manual and special tool for doing firmware updates in our devices).
I regret that you not contacted with us earlier (with our support which reply to questions immediately) - they would be happy explain it to you and even assisi in remote firmware update(we did several times for non experienced Customers - completely for free doing also some online training for them). If course, even with weak radio uploading "old" firmware can generate some CRC errors (which occur when there are checksum errors during packets transmitting - mean weak radio in computer not transmit all packets properly)
This is totally not true. Think of windows updates, some fail for some, while the same exact computer owned by someone else installs them without problem. It all depends on whats on the PC prior to the update. Even basic coders know this, and yet you don't?
Please forgive me but we can't take full responsibility for Windows updates if they are not working properly or doing a mess with BT transmission. We try to do our software/code flexible as we can but we don't know what you have installed on your computer. Similar situation was on Mac computers with Maverick software where AirDrop service wasn't working properly after new system installed. Before it was working fine - and after released update to Maverick by Apple - also started working fine. Should we say in that situation that our "transmission protocol" was faulty? Rather not I think. I can post several comments of Customers which had problems which their bluetooth speakers, keyboards and wireless media devices. It was simply something wrong with that version of OS. In your situation - Im almost sure that faulty was Bluetooth module in your computer even if it was connecting with everything (as I supposed it mean mouse, maybe keyboard.).
Please allow me to move your any other post for direct communication with our technical department (if anything else need to be explained).
Tomasz from technical support will wait for your any mails on service@pacific-sun.eu

Just look at the bolded part, then go back and read this thread, the entire thing. Every problem anyone posts about, all they have to tell anyone is this same exact thing. If bluetooth works with everything in my home and anything I want to connect to except your doser, even if its sitting on top of the doser, there might be something wrong with your BT module or coding. Not every damn computer in the world that works with everything EXCEPT your doser.
Im really happy that your BT is working with everything on your home - but still doesn't matter in situation of BT module not support communication protocols included in Class 1 modules and supported in "full" radios included in this modules. If it would be something wrong with our coding - it should be wrong on all computers/devices or we are going way that every Customer have different software/firmware and doser. It's not working like that.
Look your not going to get any response on this forum from anyone at PacSun as no one has been in this thread from them since june.
Please excuse me, as you see we are ready to answer any questions posted by our Customers but we dont have time every day to read all forums. As you can see you don't have to wait too long for my reply.
Additionally - I can only say that's not true that our company is not active in our threads, last answers made by our technical support come frequently on RC - lastly I was replying on some posts on RC in October this year. If I missed any of your question/post please take my apologies.
Anyone buying this should really look elsewhere. I literally threw mine in the trash after 4 months of it intermittently working, then finally bricking itself with a firmware update. There is no way in heck I would spend extra money to send it to poland to maybe get it back working only after several months of no doser. By that time any sane person would just buy another doser and tell poland to keep their giant POS.
I'm sorry to hear that you did it. During firmware update you did probably a very simple mistake which I will explain below.
And YES I will tell anyone that wants to buy this, to go elsewhere.
