pair of black ocellaris for sale, about 2''. had them for about a year, very hardy, eats everything...

its a black ocellaris. there is no black percula, the ones the stores label as "black percula" are black saddlebacks most of the time.

i believe these are captive bred from either ora or sea-quest. however, they don't have the "bulldog" face that is common with captive bred clowns.

I used tell people also that there is no black percula but I don't know that any more.

If you look at the scientific name on the liveaquaria link, you'll notice it says (Amphiprion ocellaris var.), and not A. Percula. They're just using "black percula" as the common name... confusing, I know...

In any case, the fish do look like the ones on liveaquaria, and if Elite passes on them, you're next in line.

I know. I been wanting to get a pair of this too. I actually almost ordered a pair from AQUACON but looking at the picture on the site their black percula looks more like vlack saddleback.

I don't have any true percs for sale, but I do have juvi ocellaris (regular kind, not black/white).

i bought him about 2 years ago from Aquarium Concepts when he was orange, but he turned completly black within a few months.
