Pairing an Argi

One of my favorite little angels and I've had mine for quite a few years. I want to pair it with a much smaller argi in hopes that mine is the male and the little incomer has remained the female. Anybody try this with success?

use an acclimation box. put the new small one in and let them get to know one another. behavior should be obvious if they will pair or fight.

Thank you Tim, nice thread and read. I just want a pair because it's one of my favorites. I think they would do great in my 165gal reef and they could add a little food to the corals. Where you ever able to raise the larvae?

Never was able to raise them. Day six was my best. Very, very tricky larvae. In a tank that size you should have no problems pairing them and maybe even forming a harem.

I'd think a harem would be really nice to watch. Think it would be best to add them all at once, maybe 4 of them?
