Pairing BTA and clowns

I am dedicating my 48 gallon FOWLR to be a BTA tank. I have introduced my green BTA yesterday. He looks good but has found a spot on the side of my tank to the back - of course. My ocellaris clown has not noticed my BTA. My goal is a pair of clowns in my bta

What do you recommend to achieve this?

Option a- purchase another ocellaris clown juvenile and hope they pair?

Option b - return my existing ocellaris clown and purchase an existing pair?

Option c - return my existing ocellaris and purchase two percula clown fish b/c percula will be more likely to host in the BTA?

If you are able to catch your clown then you would be able to coax it into the anemone. Or you could use the tube method to introduce it to the nem. If you would like to get another clown you would have to get a juvenile that is smaller than your current clown.

Ok love the tube method for getting my clowns to find anemone... Any thoughts on the best way to get a pair when I already have one ocellaris clownb

Find a small clown to pair with it. The smaller the better chance to not have a second female.

That's what I'm trying to do right now. Got a smaller black/white in QT, looking good. Going to try a breeding net box to introduce it safely to DT.

If my clown accepts it, need to make sure the powder doesn't get ticked about his territory being invaded. Ideally it'll jump into the Mag also.

IMO your best move would be to get a smaller clown and use the tube method to introduce to the anemones, and it will just be a matter of time till the current clown follows suit.
