Pairing Clowns

I've had a regular ocellaris clown for 7 months by itself and just added a wyoming white clown today. It was also being kept by itself at the lfs. They haven't been locking jaws, but they did do something where they grabbed one pectoral fin each and spun in a circle. I was under the impression that if you keep a clown by itself it won't develop a gender but I just read they will sometimes develop into females. The wyoming white is slightly larger than the other one. Is there a way to tell if they're both female?

It's not a matter of one just being smaller than the other, it has to be small/young enough to still be male, usually about an inch and a quarter to be safe, inch and a half max and have luck on your side, would not assume anything that size or bigger is still a male.
Give them some time and hopefully they work it out, post pics if you can

The other thing I was worried about was that I'm not 100% sure it's not a platinum perc. I only paid $29 for it, but I really can't tell the difference between the two of them
