I believe the technical answer is no. There are some species that live monogamously, like the maculata, but once one of them molted it would be over, especially in the small corridors of a 10 gal w/ a Smithii which ge fairly large... I have read that if you have a large tank with a large peacock and a much smaller species like a wennera or oerstedii and they both have secure burrows such that when one molts the other one cant enter its burrow and kill him... but 10 gal is certainly way to small, I was thinking about doing it in a 55 gal with some clownfish and maybe a medium sized lionfish...
