Pairing swallowtail/spotbreast angels?

Ok I had a lfs get me a pair of swallowtails. Ended up I got the male and the female had a probl before shipping.

Anyways I asked her to go ahead an try to get another female. Yesterday I picked her up and she's about the size of the male if not slightly bigger. They are perfect looking fish, but the male is chasin her all over the place. I now have her in an acclimation box and he's still acting like a *****. ANyways what are your thoughts? Slowly keep trying it? She's eating fine even in the acclimation box after gettin chased. She's a beauty, but don't want to stress her to much.

Keep her in the box for a week and see what if anything changes if not try a smaller female

Ok will do. I didn't mention, but the mail isn't 100% male colors but has stripes and blackspot on its chest.

If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if the male currently reverts back to a female and the female you currently have in the box will turn male. How big is the current female changing male compared to the female in the box?

Thanks man I'm thinking the same at this point. The female in the box is prolly the same length but quite a bit thicker/fatter.
