pairing true perc. Age and size difference.

I have a pair from Doni, but the smaller died after 3 weeks.
Sucked into the overflow.
I believe they are less than 6 months and still small.

I want to know if I can get a 2 year old female and pair it up with the
single fish ? (I know it is a female because the male jumped)

I am concern about the age difference and size difference, will the larger
female harass the smaller fish to death ?

Please advice. thanks

If your existing fish is a known female. You need to get a male or a juvi. Males turn to females - females don't turn to males.
