I have a couple cardinals in my 75 gallon display. I have noticed that the male is holding eggs in his mouth. I was just wondering what action I should take to raise the babies. Would it be worth while to set the cardinals up their own tank? If I did so could I raise the babies in the same tank?

Well if their anything like my Banggai's you will need to seperate the babies into a floating nursery and feed them BBS...the parents will eat the babies.

They are not,unfortunately.All other cardinals produce small pelagic larvae which require elaborate larval set ups.

I have a male that is holding also. I have a rotifer culture going and avaliable but how do you collect the larvae after he spits them out?
