paly question

i recently got a frag of palys there were 3 and sadly only one made it i think it was freshly fragged.my question is that this one paly will open fully one day and the next it will be closed almost completly but about half way down it looks like a figure 8 literally like a figure 8 why does this paly do this?

where is it placed at relative in the tank? how long now? flow? got picks?

Pics would be good. The only other thing I can think of is its feeding. Could still be stressed too from shipping if the others died.
