Palythoa and Xenia

I have a very large piece of live rock. It have about 6 large stalk of Xenia on it. And also . On the same rock I also have some Palythoa . And the Palythoa are about 1" away from the Xenia.
Will the be ok next to each other or i have to try to remove the Palythoa . If so what is the best way to remove the Palythoa or fragging it.

They will be fine, untill the xenia decides to grow in that direction. Once that happens, it will grow right over any zoas/palys in its path. Best to move them if you like them. Any of the methods for removing palys from a rock will work fine, search around this forum. In a nutshell, razor blade.
