Tanaka has a photo of a P. mckoskeri from Kenya that has a second ray, but I would agree with ebolved that is likely a rare genetic mutation, as is likely the case with the attenuatus abobe.

Very nice. My male is always out and swimming. He gets in there with the big boys during feeding time. He is not intimidated by any other fish.

My diamond tail keeps getting darker. Sucker's gonna be black nose to tail before long. Still looks great when he flashes though.

LFS owner/friend got it for me. The supplier had 4, he wanted all but they only sent him 2. The other were spoken for (maybe DD's pair)

The darkening is to be expected with the species, unfortunately. An artifact of keeping them under bright lighting.
