I think I have found a good setting on the radion. I am on currently on Deep Water Reef with 30% intensity. I am happy with the way the colors are looking but I have still yet to try out several of the other templates.

Thanks guys!

Did a little rearranging of some corals again and still have more to go....

This week I picked up a used ecotech battery backup for a great price and will be hooking it up if I can find a place to keep it hidden.

Battery backup is currently not working. Replaced the fuse in the cable, checked the power supply and that seems to be working, and checked the battery to find out it will only go up to about 5volts. If I charge it higher and then disconnect it it will automatically start dropping until it gets back to 5volts. Currently looking for a replacement battery.

Picked up a nice zoa frag the other day. Dont really have many in the tank at the moment and thought it would be a nice addition. Also got my orange/gold leptastrea back from a friend who was holding it while it healed up from being attacked by my old blenny.

Got a replacement battery for my backup, just havent gotten around to putting it back together.

Here are some updated pictures.

Have to find places to mount all those zoas.

Mounted a bunch of pieces to the rockwork but still have a bunch of zoanthids sitting on the sandbed.

Hi from Greece! I follow your updates as the lighting system you have installed is interested to me, as the price is still be attractive enough!

Could you please clarify to me if the Timer is included in the initial price? If no, do they charge you for some extra fee? By the way what is your daily lighting period?
Since you have bought this LED System, how satisfied are you up to now?

Finally, I give you my congs for the great progress of your reef! The weekly water changes, which I strictly follow, have given to my reef such a positive progress....like yours!

Thank you in advance!

Did they stop using the 3500K?

I believe they did stop using the 3500k with the new updated models. I actually switched out those leds to 12k cool whites when I still had it. To me it looked like the 3500k were washing some of the colors out.

Beautiful tank! hopefully one day..

Thanks for the compliment jbb!

Thanks Digital R!

With the ecotech radions the timer is all built into the light. You hook it up to the computer to set up what timing schedule you want and it just goes through the motions.

My daily lighting schedule starts with blues at 10:30am, whites come on about an hour or so later and then shut off around 9:00pm and blues stay on for another 1-2 hours. So far I am very pleased with this fixture and will probably keep this one for a lot longer than any of my other fixtures.
