part 2

Received and set up today. tons of life and I am so excited.
I do have a ? or 2.

first how long before I start to feed the tank.
I have a flower anenome and a Condylactis anenome, a feather duster (large) and tons of small ones I have seen all over.

some corals (cup corals are one I think) and varous other life as well as what comes with "the package"

I don't want to risk any of my new found friends.

Oh and I got a clam I think, it is orange inside open real wide with tons of whiteish feelers (so cool) any idea what it is called I do want to look up my friends so I can take good care of them.

We want pictures!!!

Check your ammonia everyday and when the tank is free of ammonia, then feed. The anemones will eat a piece of raw shrimp once or twice a week. Feather dusters need micro food. Look for a liquid invertebrate food. I use two versions of Kent: one is 5-25 microns for the sponges and the like. The other is 800 microns for feather dusters and tunicates.

Probably a flame scallop. Richard seems to have found a bunch of them. They are very difficult to take care of. Someone posted an article on them in this forum (Red, was that you?) Read the article and get the right food for them. Leave it hidden.

You should wait until your ammonia is 0 ppm before feeding your new found friends. Read the sheet Richard sent with Part 2 and read <a href="http://www.tbsaltwater.com/thepackage/setup.html" target="_blank">Set Up Procedures</a> which includes instructions on when and how to feed Part 2 of your setup.

Feel free to ask all of your questions here. I just checked my ammonia and it is .25 so far so good. we have found more stuff than I can name.

your tank is so colorful! I put the orange tree sponges on the rock. I think it was advice from HowardW. They're alive and growing so it seems to be okay.
