Partial RBTA Split

Anyone experience a partial RBTA split? It has been 3 weeks since the RBTA began splitting, but it is still connected at the collar/oral disk. It has been eating shrimp and generally looks good.

+1 Just keep any clowns away from the pieces for a few weeks while they heal.

Should I use scissors or something like a xacto knife? My inclination is to let it be and let it split naturally despite how long it is taking. I figure they can't/won't stay partially connected forever.

Use anything sharp to cut them apart in your tank. Don't need to take them out of the water

In nature they live in un-split colonies; so, do whatever you prefer.
