Partition help for a sump

I am using a 55 gallon glass tank. I have been told that acrylic won't stick to glass using silicone. Can plexi glass be used???? what other materials can be used???

Acrylic may not "stick" to glass using silicon, but it sure will hold it just fine! Once the silicone has set, you'll have a hard time removing the baffle...I know because I just removed the acrylic baffles from a used sump I just bought.

I have plexiglass baffles in my glass tank sump, and they're holding just fine with silicone.
