Hi!

Using only two white tubes make tank looking more "contrast" - I feel personally that corals grow little slower but overall corals looks more "saturated".

You need to check it out - I think that you will like it, it bring some colors back, however I feel that corals grow little slower(probably due less amount of symbiotic algae in corals tissue - however it make them more colored again ;-)

My biggest concern using 2 white bulbs is even spread throughout the tank.My tank is z72x34x24 and i feel that my SPS wouldnt get enough white spectrum

Here is my combo on my 10x54w over my 60x36x24.

The iPhone makes the tank look more purple than it is but the colors really pop with this combo! I feel with this many bulbs you should definitely try a 6500K bulb (Tropic). It adds a different dimension the other bulbs I think lack. Excuse the tank pic, I've been recovering from some issues and I am pretty coral light right now :)

For comparison. This picture was just hours earlier under 2 x 400w Radiums, 2 blue+, and 2 actinic.

I think with 2 Purple and 2 C+ you adding too much of a red spectrum to your tank . JMO
But I guess its a matter of taste .

Mshur, very nice bulb combination. Is that the same combo as you stated in you earlier post? I love the way your colors are just popping. Very nice choice!

Quick question for everyone. Does anyone else have a Diuna on a Neptune Apex? Preferably the new apex with the EB832. I am seeing extremely low power draw compared to the specifications and what it SHOULD be pulling. This has also been confirmed with a Fluke True-RMS Clamp meter.

Voltage is approximately 112v. Here is what it is pulling at full power all bulbs on:

3.5 Amps
~400 Watts

I would expect to see roughly 550w...

Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks!

Don

Any of you guys having an issue with internal clock?
Mine runs behind and gain 4-5 min every day. Tried to use adjustment option but it doesnt help.
Some kinda " bug" in the system?
