I recently had a weird experience with my PC's and am writing this in hopes of helping others to avoid this situation.
I had a pair of 2X96 watt ballasts that I had for over 10 years and one went bad, no surprise there.
I ordered two new ballasts and four new bulbs, installed everything and all was good for a few weeks. Then one by one the bulbs began to go bad until I was down to one bulb. I called Hamilton Technology and they promptly sent me three new bulbs. Installed them and the same thing happened again.
I just got off the phone with them and was told that if the sockets between the ballast and the lights are not replaced periodically this can happen, so I ordered the four sockets I need and they are replacing all four bulbs.
Great customer service as always, I just wished I had known that sockets had to be replaced even though they show no visible signs of corrosion.
