Peacock growth rate related to tank size?

Hello,

I have had my Peacock mantis for about a year now and she (I think :) ) has molted once or twice. She is about 4.5 to 5" long and in a 10 gallon tank. I haven't noticed hardly growth since I've had her. She seems to like the 10 gallon just fine, but I have a 15g long sitting at my place that's not being used. My question is: Would it be advantageous to put her in the bigger tank? If she's happy in the 10, I'd just as soon leave her alone. But, if she would do better in the larger tank, I would do that in a hearbeat. Would she start growing with the added space? Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

BTW, an interesting note. She had a spot on her tail where the scale had worn away showing the "meat". I was very concerned about that, thinking it was the disease I've read about that's fatal for mantis shrimps. Interestingly, she molted and it healed itself. There are still some discolored spots, but it's all covered over now. I was relieved. :)

Unless really cramped, I doubt that tank size directly affects growth. That seems to be a function of nutrition and temperature. It does sound like she had a fairly nasty case of shell disease. I would watch it since it will come back.
