My ORA Pearlberry. It's a beautiful coral. I like how some of the polyps have one very long tentacle. I'm hoping the coralites plump up as it grows. It's still pretty small (2"x1.5").
nice shot. I have a pearlberry that bleached out in the last week. I tested everything and I cant find a solution to the problem. This hobby sucks sometimes
Thanks ngn8dogg and jthao. I'm sorry to hear of your color issues. Interesting how one browned and one bleached. I wonder if Pearlberry as a critter is more sensitive to adjustment issues / relocation? Hopefully they will both color back up for you. If it helps, I'd be happy to post more pictures of mine in the meantime to get you through it.
90sShooter, a pat on the back and some lens envy is the icing on my satisfaction cake with this shot. Thank you. OMG Thursday! That's like DAYS from now. Remember the old Heinz ketchup commmerical? "Anticipation..."
I look forward to seeing the results of your lens in action.
I'm still using my antique Bogen 3001 with a cumbersome 3 way head. Screw the camera on and off each time. Making small adjustments is pain. I think I'm going with a ball head next. The Bogen / Manfrotto 055XPROB with 488RC2 head looks good.
