Pearly Jawfish acting offish

I've had a pearly jaw for several months. It's been eating and living in its burrow happily. Two days ago, it abandoned it's burrow and hasn't built another. It's also not eating. And the yellow on it's head is faded. This morning, it was breathing normally but just languishing by the front glass. It let me just net it up so I did and put it in my QT where it's been just kinda hanging there for the better part of the day.

Here it is a few weeks ago feeling groovy.

Here it is in the QT feeling pretty freaked by all appearances.

All tank params stable and normal. All other fish and corals fine.

It has no visible symptoms save the faded head. Weight is good. All fins intact. No parasites or blemishes of any kind.

Any thoughts appreciated.

What ended up happening with your pearly? These are my favorite fish by far.
