My yellow watchman has a cave in the front of the tank and he pretty much just sits there in front of it on the sand all day. When food is in the tank he darts out and eats it. That's about all it does. It's more interesting to have a pistol shrimp with the watchman and watch the shrimp than the goby.

I have a yellow watchman/Yellow shrimp pair and half the time the watchman is roaming the tank and the other half hes hanging out with his shrimp buddy. The shrimp digs 24/7 which is great for stirring my sand.
