As a Fluval 404 media insert, they have Peat granuals and fiber. They say that it helps the fish reproduce. Is that true for clownfish?

you mean freshwater fish?
peat moss or extracts of mosses, bark etc are primarily found in high concentrations in streams, rivers, ponds, i guess lagoonal areas may have higher than usually plant tannins.
ANyway I've not heard of peat being used for anything but killifish --but who knows

You almost have it, the magic bullet for breeding marine fish does have the same letters in it as Peat, but it is spelt Patience.... :D

Peat is a freshwater trick ONLY as Frank stated.

What do you mean by high quality? 100% Real Angus beef?

You want them to get food that is worth eating. High protein, High Omega, High Vitamin, High Mineral and you want it to be a varied diet because no single food is perfect.

There are also diets that promote certain traits in clowns and their eggs/fry, but that is a discussion for a later time or it can be found by searching this site (look for my name and beef heart).
