People with multiple angels please help!

Yeah, I want a little bit of everything! Is this all in your 100g tank? You majestic should out grow that on its own. So your going to need to upgrade anyway, then you can get an emperor! What other fish are in your tank? I am very interested in trying a pair of flame angels, that would be really cool! So you can tell them apart besides size differene? I really need a bigger tank, I want to get some tangs badly and who knows what else.

lol, quad post. Im hoping the majestic will last in the 100 for a while. They only get 10-12 inches, so that should work for a 5 foot tank. I have the majestic, 2 flames, a coral beauty, 2 azure damsels, and a pair of cinnamon clowns. There is about the limit of fish, so ill just start getting inverts now. Im almost sure your at you limits with just the angels. You have 3 large angels in a 6 foot tank, im almost sure the tangs will fight because of lack of space. Im really new at pairing flames, but from all that ive read it is best to get a big size difference. All dwarf angels start life as female, so a really small one will almost always be female. But angels can change to male really fast. Like a few weeks. So if there is not a domanit male in the tank, it will turn to a male. If you get two males youll know in no time. They will fight to the death!! You can only keep alot of dwarf angels if there is only one male. You could have a haram of flames, with like 3-4 fish if you get all females, and one large male. I think that is why my coral beauty gets along with the flames. Im almost sure it is a female, but im not sure how to tell in the coral beauties. It is really cool having abounch of flames!! They are really beautiful fish, so having more than one is just plan cool, lol. But you have to play your cards right and get a male and female. They will spawn in the tank, but with a tank full of angels it will be alot harder. There is a place that sells captive bred flames now!! If the LFS will let you, put a large and small flame in the same tank and watch them. If they attack each other you know they wount pair, but if there is just some chasing, with submision from the small female youll have a good chance of making a pair!! There is a person on here by the name of: Angel*Fish , that has a pair of flames in a 125, with a lemonpeel, and a pygmy. You mite look in the reef fish forum and pm them. They helped me alot!!! Good luck with the pair, and ill work on getting some pics!!

Yeah, sorry about the quad post, I was on my GF's comp last night and RC was going real slow. She was yelling at me to get off so I had to hurry and it wasn't working! I hate how RC does that, really annoying!

I definitely want to try a pair of flames, that would be as cool as my emperor and queen! I won't be adding any more fish besides small stuff, like damsels and a clown to my 125. I will get a par of flames and the tangs when I upgrade. QT them all while I am waiting to set up my new tank, then add everything in at once. I need some smaller fish to eat the small pieces that the big angels leave over, any suggestions? I have a scotts (yellow belly) damsel and a yellowtail. I thought about getting a few more yellow tails and a pair of ocellaris clowns. I would get a BTA for them as well, I have 192w PC on the tank now, so the BTA should be ok, if I feed him silversides as well.
What inverts are you planning on putting in your tank? I know the majestic is supposed to be the most reef safe angel, along with a few others (regal, blueface) but he still may nip at some corals. I can't wait to get a mated flame pair, I wonder if it works for any other angel? There is a large queen angel (6") at my lfs, maybe it could pair up with my 3" queen, haha. Also a large emperor 6" could pair up with my 4", I am just dreaming and kidding here! I really need like a 1000g tank, I really do want a little bit of everything, actually a pair of everything.

1000g+, hahahaha!! Well I have some bad news. For some reason the female flame died this morning. It was fine last night, and had no marks on it when I took it out!!! I only had them for like a week, but I havent seen anything wrong... Im not sure how im gonna intoduce a new female, so I mite just leave it like this. As for inverts ive got, 2 cleaner shrimp, one long spine urchin, and a pepperment shrimp. For corals, I have a orange fungia, alot of random zoos, xenia, random shrooms, and a frog spawn. None of the angels have looked twice at any of the corals, but they are all still young so ill have too see. Ill just work around the fish, . I like the angels more than coral!!

I'm having trouble even just viewing your video because I will need to download Flash8 or newer first. So I don't get the "view all" option on the link.

But here's a pic of my juvenile Emperor Angel that was taken about 3-4 months ago but there's been no change since.

It is the biggest of all of my angels, even though the Majestic is just about fully changed now and the Blue Face is already in the process of changing.

I'll try to get pics of the other guys up soon.

Raymond:)

moonpod, nice tank! 450g? I saw 3 angels in there, flagfin, majestic and another I can't put the name to right now. What else? Have a stock list? more details please!

BlueNWhite, nice emp! Mine is a little bit bigger, he is starting to have lighter colors on the top. Does that mean he is color changing? It's weird, just his top is almost faded. The top of adult emperors is more of a light greenish white kind of color. Hopefully he is changing! I really have to get some pics up of my fish.

goldflake--not a flagfin
majestic
blueface
regal
asfur

Did have a chrysurus--the asfur suddenly didn't like it and it had to go.

Next p/u is prolly a bandit.

Those are the latest. A few others on website. Everyone gets along fine. They ignore each other nicely.

BlueNWhite, love the emp!!!!! How did you get such a good pic?? When ive been trying to get pics of mine they just run back to the caves, lol.

Nice shot of the goldflake in that one! Yeah, it is hard to see the blueface, I love that angel though. You have quite a bit of tangs in there. What other fish besides your angels do you have?

scout, I know what you mean. I have a hard time getting good pics of my fish. They always move, think they are going to get fed. Sometimes the best time to take a pic is when feeding. I only have pics on my phone, which sucks, I need to get a camera.
