I need to get rid of some aiptasia. They are spreading fast. I can't kill them. They just multiply. I do t want the peps to pick at the haddoni. Any body have any issues using peps with anemone?+

From what I've read about haddonis it's more the peppermint shrimp you should worry about. I have a RBTA and Condylactis and I have peppermint shrimp... they don't bother either of these anemones and take care of all aiptasia.

I had 3 peppermint shrimp, and 2 cleaner shrimp with maxi mini carpet........

Now we have 1 peppermint shrimp, and 1 cleaner shrimp. The peps took care of my aptasia just like that, but you might need to restock them every few months. They get WAY too comfortable with the carpets.

I have a haddoni, and quite a few other anemones in my tank. I buy a hand full of peppermint shrimp probably once or twice a year. They don't bother the anemones, but they seem to disappear in time.

If you already have the anemone, and it is healthy and established, I wouldn't worry. Now, if you are adding an S. Haddoni to a tank that has some peps, I would be a bit concerned. I have personally watched them go after newly introduced Haddonis, and also go after damaged ones.

Thanks all!! Mine is settled in and a death trap for a lot of my inverts. I have been trying to battle the aiptasia for a year now by kalking them to only have them pop up 2 fold in a couple weeks.
