my pepperments are not eatin the anemonies like they are supposed to. They hide in the dark spots of the live rock caves and dont seem to eat any of em.

Any advice?

How big are these anemones? If they are too big sometimes they wont eat them.

What kind of anemones are you wanting them to eat? I think they will only eat aptaisia.

theres a chance they were mislabled at the petstore and are camle back shrimp (although there is a pretty big difference in appearance IMO) but my peppermint shrimp dont eat them either. when we first got them they would eat one or two but since then they havent bothered. there is a nudebranche(sp?) that will eat them that we got. he does a great job, just a little slow and super tiny. hopefully someone will know what im talking about.

This is a Camel Shrimp, does not eat aiptasia

The nudibranchs that solely eat on aiptasia are Berghia Nudibranchs. I got some aiptasia and think I'll give these a try. I'm tired of using Kalk paste. I can get the big ones, but its the little ones in the crevices I hope the nudis can reach

ok they are i think the aiptasia. anyway they are about 1/4 inch? big and the shrimp are defenetly pepperment. I have been using joe's juice. I think they only the the tiny ones that i don't discover. thanks for the info.

I found that my shrimp didn't touch the aptisia at first. So I let them settle in and then a week or two later I starved the tank for about a week all my aptisia in the display was gone after that week. Ever since then anytime I notice some aptisia growing the shrimp seem to take care of them within a few days. now I just need to get one for the refugium the aptisia is running wild back there and the joe's juice can only take out so much :rolleye1:
