Peppermint shrimp and cleaner shrimp

if you have a big shrimp in first with a small tank and add another small one, the big one can be pretty territorial. i had a huge skunk in my 30gal and added 2 small peps. whenever he had a chance he would lunge at them but never really did anything. how many gallons is your tank? i would think adding them at the same time would be best

I have a 60gallon cube. So far there are 2 peppermint shrimps. I was thinking about adding one more peppermint and then 2 cleaner shrimps..

I hear they can, but I didn't have success...maybe it was because I had 5 peps and then added one cleaner a couple months after. Good luck

What size tank and how many lbs of liverock?

I kept a fire shrimp, a pair of cleaners, and 3 pepermints in a 90 gallon for a few years without issues.

I had 5 Peps and 4 Sexies when I added a Cleaner, shortly after the Peps all disappeared. I can;t say for sure, but I think the cleaner did them in. I read somewhere of someone else having the same thing happen.

This was in a 30, maybe a larger tank would bring more success.

I have 3 cleaners and 4 peps in my 65. No problem. Don't see the peps often but I do see them every once in a while.

I have a coral banded, one pep, and 2 cleaners in my 75. I want to add a few sexys but they are just too small...

Had 6 peppermints and 1 cleaner in a 125g; they seemed to get along just fine.

Yes, I have 2 cleaner shrimps and 1 peppermint shrimps in a 40gal. All are healthy.

1 cleaner and 2 peps...not buddies for life, but not killing each other either.
