Peppermint Shrimp for Aptasia Control?

After picking up some free live rock from a fellow reef keeper I noticed some Apstasia Anemones sprouted in various spots. Rather then rely on chemical to deal wit them I would like to add a Peppermint Shrimp to deal with this issue naturally. I already have 2 Cleaner Shrimp and I have read various stories of the Cleaner Shrimp killing the Peppermint Shrimp. Is this a normal incompatibility that I need to be concerned with and that maybe I should go the route of Berghia Nudibranchs? Any thoughts are experiences would be greatly welcomed. Thank you in advanced for the assistance.

Personally i'd get that rock the heck out of the tank ASAP!!! Unless you want your tank over run in very short order!! Quarantine it and deal with the Aptasia out of your display tank. That being said The Nudis are your best bet at natural control IMHO. But they take a LOT of time( Like months) to bring them under control.

Well my Berghia Nudibrach plan hasn't seem to have any effect on the Aptasia in the aquarium. So I decided that may it needed a little help since I have seen a few more Apstasia sprout up in other location. So I purchase two peppermint shrimp to assist in the battle and within 2 days one of the Aptasia is gone and they are living in peaceful existence with my two Cleaner Shrimp.

Peppermint shrimp all the way, over time I left some apes unattended to the tune of having some on every piece of live rock. 2 peppermints in my 90gal display and a week later not a single aptasia and they have not returned after years

Nice to see your cleaner shrimp didn't kill the peppermints. I also wanted to get some peppermints to eat my aipstasia but did not want my cleaner shrimp to kill them

I have a cleaner shrimp on my tank with 3 peppermints with no issue. In my last tank, the peppermints destroyed all aiptasia and I never saw aiptasia again. +1 on natural control.
