Peppermint shrimp w/ feather dusters and xmas tree worms?

I have heard that peppermint shrimp will eat feather dusters and christmas tree worms. Is this true? The owner of a LFS said that would not be a problem unless I neglect feeding and I should add the shrimp for aiptasia control. I like this shrimp anyways and would like to add it, but I definitely want the mentioned filter feeding worms.

This would explain what happened to my christmas tree worms
I did notice when I put the rock in after the lights were out that the shrimp were all hanging out on the rock
