what is the typical time frame for third bar dev. in percs?

ive noticed today that some of the babies have signs of third bar dev. i can see a lighter area in the fird bar region. the good thing is that the lighter area seems complete. a full band.

many appear to have the a lighter break in the second bar region with defined white spots now. the spots are tiny, but very bright white.

i know these are defin. areas of white band formation bec ive seen it in baby rodonyx ive grown out in the past.

Depending on a variety of factors, usually a year. That's one of the reasons why not too many people do it, you need lots of room and lots of tanks and lots of water and lots of food, etc ad nauseum.

wow didnt realize how long it takes to dev. !

as long as they dev. well my hope is just to get some nice clowns for my collection. so i guess i have some time to wait
