Percula a finicky eater?

Three weeks ago, I purchased a 1 1/2 - 2" Percula who is doing great in my 30g FO. But she is one finicky eater! Tried live brine, Formula 1, Tetra Tropical Crisps, Tetra Marine Flakes, Mysis shrimp, frozen blood worms and freeze dried plankton. I've noticed that I must grind the food into super small pieces in order for her to eat something. Any ideas?

There is also a LTA in the tank and she won't go near it. What's with that!

My little clown went from the LFS eating pellets and mysis to only eating pellets and now will eat brine shrimp or mysis. Plus he only eats the smaller pieces and will spit out larger ones. He also ignores or spits out the pellets that he used to love. I am going to try the flakes again and also the cyclopeze that GSM suggested.

With finicky eaters always keep an eye on them for disease. My clownfish will eat anything in the tank that I put in there and I find this true of many clowns. Their food source is location determined in the wild due to their host spot. They eat a wide range of food and are accepting of most. Just check for spots, stringy feces, abrasions, flashing, flicking, scraping, etc.

Best case scenario: as it was being raised, it was brought up on specific food sources that it would rather have.

I recently started to soak her food in Kent Garlic and she is eating more.

It's a pain, but she's worth it.
