I have had my tank over 2 years and only got one Perc clown when I bought it for some reason. I feel like it is neglected would it be ok to add another at this point or are they going to beat the heck out of each other. My RBTA did split into two if that makes a difference they could each have one

How big is your tank? The existing fish is going to be dominant. If you do get another Perc get one that is smaller.Keep your eyes on them.
and it isnt the only one in the tank at the lfs.
dont want 2 females, they will fight until one dies

I just got a black acellaris to be "best friends" with my existing, semi-mature orange one. After a few stressful hours (during which I was carefully watching the tank), they became peaceful and now swim around like they've known each other forever. However, I was VERY careful to get the smallest clown in my lfs's tank, just to be safe!
