Percula clown. What anemone?

Ive got a pair of mated True Perc clowns. I know no clown is guaranteed to host a certain anemone or one at all, but what do true percs host in the wild or what anemone are they most likely to host.

Nothing is guaranteed......I use to have an RBTA. I got tired of the dang thing moving around. Now I have a Sabae, and my Onyx Percs love it.

H. crispa is a natural host for A. percular, they get huge though so need a BIG tank.

Do you have any experience with anemones? What size tank do you have? lighting?

carpets are natural host also... but you would be more worry about all other fish

Actually, that's not entirely true. Gigantea and mertensii are a natural host, but haddoni are not. Magnifica are also natural symbionts.

I have a 56 gallon column reef with 1 65w actinic bulb for mornings and then i have a 250w 14k metal halide that comes on for the day until the last hour of actinics. I d like the anemone as the first addition so it can find a spot and not move, then add my coral. Any anems that stay small and tend not to move much?

Took the words out of my mouth. Though it didn't stop my SI Percs, I pulled their LTA out of the tank and put in a Haddoni that I had had in another tank -- it wasn't even out of my hand before they were being hosted by it.
