percula has problems

If Anyone can help it would be appreciated!!!!!
MY Mother has a pair of perculas in her thirty gallon tank that she has had for three years now and today the females belly is real big and she keeps floating to the top then struggles back down. If any one knows what is going on with her could you help me out. Thanks

What kind of food does she feed? Sometimes clownfish fed flakes and floating pellets can develop what's called "floating bloat". It's basically a swim bladder problem, and it should clear if the food is switched to something that doesn't float.

thanks i think she still feeds flake even though ive been telling her for ever to switch to frozen maybe now she will change.

If she isn't interested in switching food just have her dunk the flakes when feeding so that they are in suspension in the water and not floating on the surface, that will help alot.
