This is News that I just got from Jason (reefersnob) somebody killed all live stock within 5 min, this is wrong.

J says that there were three guys, seperatly, niether one didn't want help, thinks they were in all together, this happend just now, this is crazy, things like this is way I'm scared of having a store, I told some people that my idea of having a store would be by membership only, like my SERIOUS IDEA was you gotta pay 1000.00 to be a member, but you'll get it all back in products. A serious reefer knows that you WILL spend 1000.00'ssss on a reef set up, AND i KNOW WHO COMES IN BECAUSE i WILL HAVE all YOUR INFO , IF NOT YOU DON'T COME IN, SO LIKE CHEECH SAYS, YOU CAN KEEP ON KNOCKING , BUT YOU CAN'T COME IN,LOL. BUT IF YOU BRAKE IN, YOURE ON CANDID CAMRA , AND GO TO PRISON FOR KILLING ANIMALS... THIS IS WRONG MAN, WRONG. i GOT TO GO. my boy j needs a friend, he's feeling really bad, he said he has never held 10lbs of dead fish in a bag, thats really, really sad.

That really sucks. I know alot of people do not like Pet Mart but that is no reason to take it out on innocent living creatures. Some people are such a**holes! I hope they are caught and prosecuted.
i went over to take a look.. its a massacure over there..
they lost about 80% of their fish stock. and i saw the bag of dead beautiful fish.. very sad....
aparently it all happened around 1 pm today and as i was in there 30 mins ago fish were still dead in the tanks and more were dying.. so sad for such beautiful creatures

That is got to be one of the scariest things in the back of every fish store owners mind because it is such an easy thing to have happen. I still don't understand what would prompt anyone to do such a thing.

It was probably someone that was ridiculed by nick. they prolly thought that killing his entire livestock would get back at him. they may have gotten back him but it not cool to harm all those innocent fishies.

This has been one of the saddest days I've ever had in all things fish. I watched hundreds of fish die in a matter of minutes. Please understand, all parameters we could test for were near perfect.
We are offering a $3000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible individual or parties.
These individuals are able to walk in to any store and do the same thing. We cannot, regardless of motivation, ethically allow these people to remain anonymous.

I agree, it was def. wrong to do such a thing, i know lots of people have grudges against petmart and their employees, but why the heck would anyone take it out on the innocent livestock? This is reckless and inconsiderate. I would hope it's not someone on this board, cause this is really tragic for the livestock more then anything. And even though some of us may not like Petmart, They don't deserve anything like this. May the fishies rest in peace.

I like petmart and go there all the time for freshwater fish and dog food and also banfield for my dog. I cant believe somone in the right mind would do this. You must have cameras in the stores right? Well be on the look out for kids, because i would hope a grown up would never do this. Good luck on catching these punks.

I love Petmart!!! ***!?!?! They just completely re-designed their whole aquarium side layout, this is a horrible thing. and laz, please do not let a fear of something like this happening keep you from running a succesful business. Member only businesses of this type will not stay profitable for very long at all.
In any case, I would love to personally give the scum responsible a severe beating, and then pass them on to the rest of my friends for more fun. It may sound harsh, but this was just completely horrible. I consider an act like this nothing more than economic AND environmental terrorism.
