Does it bother anyone else when people use quotes that involve pictures that were already posted in the thread? It seems like a waste of server space and load times to me.

I don't have anything personal against people who do this, it just bothers me.

Not only does it bother me, it can overrun the hosting site and the guys' pics will get pulled due to bandwidth restrictions sooner. Really sux when people are all awe struck about something totally cool just to see red X's all over because they overran the bandwidth. Just my .02.

actually, the way it should work is that the image is called and downloaded once to your computer, then each time its "called" in the page it is inserted. Now it does take extra space in the thread and makes the thread longer, more pages do take up more space on the server and strains the system.

Sometimes it helps to know what people are talking about, but a lot of times it bothers me because I am on dial-up and it just adds time and sometimes aggravation.

you know what I hate, is when I am on my satellite at home and things are a little slow. As a long thread loads in and the pictures are slow loading, I keep having to adjust the page to read it...grrr, I hate that.

And yeah, who ever thinks of bristleworms when you are trying to protect yourself from identity theft. I always figured it would be my cat.....
