Pet Ranch is a crime

I hope Pet Ranch never gets the chiller. It's better they are only using 3 tanks to kill the fish instead of the whole back wall.

Last time I was there, it was in the row of tanks just west of all the saltwater stuff, bottom row.

Where'd ya get them funky smilys, Mr. Toadstool Pimp!?!

I have to agree with you misfit. I like the owner but he has no business doing salt water. That is why I am on the fence between buying things from these awful stores and at least giving them a chance in my tank. Or letting them Die and forceing the store to go out of business. :(

What funky smileys?

Thanks BlueManDj, I didn't want to sound like to much of an arse, god knows I have never done that before. I think it is better for everything he has to die off and then they may stay away from the salt side. It is hard to see the fish they have and not want to try to save them. I think the only way I could buy them is if they said they were closing the salt side and needed to get rid of them.

How arrogant can a person be to say "they have no business doing saltwater"? Instead of acting like a condecending arse, try to point the guy in the right direction. Maybe he wants to do it, but has never had anyone tell or show him how to do it correctly.
I am sure that at some point, K, Kei and Yale didn't know crap from clay about S/W fish, someone showed them the way. Now all of you pay their mortgage!
If you aren't willing to help, you hurt!

Ive been going in there for years and talked to him and he shows no interested in getting it up and going. Hes a nice guy but his only interest is in dogs, birds and reptiles and dose take good care of them. As for salt water it's just not for him.

Then maybe he should have a clearance sale, rid himself of S/W and stick with what he likes. Suggest it to him. If someone knows him fairly well, maybe he would take advice, or accept a bit of help "unloading" this merchandise.

Guess they never should of moved from one end of the shopping strip to the other. When he moved from the north side to the south side of that stripmall, he has a chance to really make it nice but the move made the storefront worse.

It would of been a good idea to just do dry goods for fish, and then birds and dogs, then work his way up to fish.

The store is too small for the product he has, a warehouse storefront might be better for him.

Dude, how do you open a thread from 3 years ago and get this type of response instantly? You've got some magic potion or Jedi magic. By the way, is this place still open? I haven't been over there in a long time.

I never heard about it other than that it was a crime. ;)

Not really the advertisment that makes me drop what I was doing and rush out the door.

It's all in the moves, Mr. White doesn't hurt either. :D

I can't beleive it's still open?:rolleye1:

Holycow, it's right at 3 years and a day. I guess I should have called this my 3 year anniversary bump. It's been a fun 3 years for me, I'm sure some of you haven't enjoyed my fun but I have and that's all that matters ;)

If I remember, I will bump it next year also. We will see if I still have the moves Clif.
