Ok to mix with BTA? 4ft 60 gal

Should be fine, people mix anemones all the time with success. (brother has 2 gigs, 2 mags, 3 haddonis, and another LTA incoming... lol) Granted his tank has only been short term, but there are long term successes out there. (Minh comes to mind)

May need to run carbon though. (if you're not already) Good luck!!

Good luck.! Following along.

Do you have antibiotics if needed?

Thank you. I will get the antibiotics tomorrow. About to acclimate it. It's going in my DT right away. My QT has copper residual and I will have to get a new HT tomorrow. Petco said they had it for 3 weeks. Not sure if it's good or not.

good luck!

just read through the thread with someone using antibiotics every other day on his gigantea.. so much work!

It was floating upside down at the store. That was a concern bc I normally wouldn't buy an anemone that's not attached to anything. However once a petco employee turned the a one upside down it instantly closed its mouth which I took as a positive. I will do what I can to make sure it survives...starting with an air stone in the acclimation bucket. Lol

Petco Gigantea

Well, the gig is in and is trying attach its foot to a rock. I dug up a little area for it and seems to be working so far...powerheads are off for at least 30-45 mins. Here it's reaching its foot underneath the rock.

Thanks Alex. I actually thought of you at the store. Looked to see if they had another one for you but all they had left was a small haddoni.

Thanks man! Right now I really have my hands full...my HT resembles a revolving door at a real hospital...but for gigantea ;)
