Petco mag.. take chance?

Make me want to ask local Petco to order me a carpet Nem. It would be a crap shot because a carpet could be anything not necessarily a mag.

Technically. But most of the lfs don't know the differences between mag, gig and haddoni. One lfs actually said "this type of carpet Nem don't eat fish". It was a haddoni. They all know the name ritteri though.

My local petco always has haddonis labeled as gigs.

Most LFS don't know a whole lot about nems and mislabel all the time, one of the nicest mags I've seen was at a petco labeled as a carpet that came in by mistake, too bad my tank was just being built at the time, it was so dark purple it looked almost black under their lights, would have liked to had that and see it color up properly.
